Birdwatching in Takatsuki and Kadoma (January 29, 2023)

As the weather was better than yesterday, I visited same ponds with the other friend.  Both ducks were still present and active.  A mysterious duck, which looks like Baer's Pochard male, was also in Kadoma.

Birdwatching in Takatsuki and Kadoma (January 28, 2023)

 We visited two small ponds in Takatsuki and Kadoma where two rare ducks were found.  Both Baer's and Red-crested Pochards were seen well.

Birdwatching in Takarazuka (January 28, 2023)

Heavy snowfall in the evening of 27 January.  My birding friend took me inland Takarazuka as he found a male Red-crested Pochard.  Although we missed another target, Solitary Snipe, we enjoyed birding in the snow field.
