Although it was cloudy, I tried walkingup to Shonan-daira to check whether or not waxwings are there. As very few fruits remains on the orchids, I just confirmed no more waxwing there. There were a large flock of Japanese Grosbeak on the slope. After going down to Hiratsuka, I briefly dropped in the waxwing's spot where I saw 11 February. They are still there while many of them stay along the riverside to drink water or rest on the tree.
