Birdwatching in Nijuisseiki-no-mori, Kanagawa (May 15, 2021)

Although my original destination was Shusui-no-taki waterfall, Yamakita Town, I somehow walked to Nijuisseiki-no-mori forest park after 1.5 hours walk from the waterfall.

As the elevation is slightly high, about 650m, there are good variety of birds, including a good songstar, Japanese Thrush.

Narcissus Flycatcher is quite common in the park, though I took photos only immature males.

Bird List of the day:

White-bellied Green Pigeon, Oriental Turtle Dove, House Swift, Japanese Pygmy Woodpecker, Japanese Woodpecker, Ashy Minivet, Eurasian Jay, Japanese Tit, Varied Tit, Coal Tit, Barn Swallow, Brown-eared Bulbul, Japanese Bush Warbler, Asian Stubtail, Long-tailed Tit, Eastern Crowned Warbler, Japanese White-eye, White-cheeked Starling, Japanese Thrush, Blue Rock Thrush, Narcissus Flycatcher, Blue-and-White Flycatcher, Grey Wagtail, Oriental Greenfinch, Japanese Grosbeak, Meadow Bunting, Tree Sparrow.
