Birdwatching in Tsukuba-san, Ibaraki (February 22, 24 & 26, 2025)

 Yellow-throated Bunting, White's Thrush, Red-flanked Bluetail and others were seen in the plum grove site. All were easy to observe and seasonal photographs could be taken with the plum flowers.

 There were some unique Kyushu bird encounters, including the distinctive black-and-white adult Daurian Jackdaw and a small flock of Chinese Penduline Tit, and it was good to see a Ruddy-breasted Crake emerging in an easy-to-see location.
