Birdwatching in Arasawa Marsh, Miyagi (June 13, 2023)

 Arasawa Marsh is located in northwestern Miyagi Prefecture, nearly border with Yamagata Prefecture.  The marsh and surrounding environment is protected by the prefectural government.  When I arrived in the marsh, temperature was already high.  Although I didn't expect much, I was able to see good number of Japanese Yellow Bunting, a few Japanese Thrush and Narcissus Flycatcher.

Birdwatching in Karuizawa (June 7, 2023)

 Although we arrived bit late morning, we were still able to hear some song bird's calls.  An Eastern Crowned Warbler was rather tame.  Probably, he was alarming us where his nest may be located.
