Butterfly in Hiratsuka (June 3-4, 2022)

 I enjoyed beautiful plumage of Favonius orientalis.

Bird and Butterfly Watching in Maioka Koen (May 28 - June 2, 2022)

 A lonely Narcissus Flycatcher had been very vocal, though I didn't find his partner.  According to local birding friends, it is the 2nd season to see him alone.  Hopefully, a female will stay with him in the next season.

Unfortunately, chicks of Japanese Pygmy Woodpecker were taken by predators.
