Birdwatching in Hiratsuka (February 11, 2021)

Although I got a news just 10 February, location wasn't so clear.  I firstly walked along Hanamizu River as my friend told me.  However, there was no evidence of waxwings.

Then, I decided to go up to Shonan-daira, where waxwings are often observed.  When I reached to a road, there were 4 camera men.  They were waiting for waxwings came down to llex trees along the road.

I stayed there by 11:15 AM and got about 1,000 shots within 3 hours.

Birdwatching in Yokohama Shizen Kansatsu no Mori (February 7, 2021)

Although my target was a male Grey Bunting, he didn't appear at last.  The park is contracted to Wild Bird Society of Japan on the management by Yokohama City Council.  The secondary growth forest is well maintained, though number and diversity of birds are not so much.  Highlight was Eurasian Bullfinches.  Totally five of them were seen well.
