Birdwatching in Maioka Koen (January 13, 2013)

A warm and peaceful day.  Although no special bird was seen, a very good day for photographing birds.  Comparing to last week, very few number of Bullfinches were seen while no Long-tailed Rosefinch was seen.

Birdwatching in Maioka Koen (January 6, 2013)

Cold but fine day.  Glad to see two flocks of Bullfinches, which were first time for me to see in Maioka Koen while a few calls of Long-tailed Rosefinches were heard.  Although Solitary Snipe didn't come this winter, two Eurasian Woodcocks have been staying here.  Birds which were seen today were as below.
