Birdwatching in Bhutan, November 2011 1

Birdwatching in Maioka Koen (13 November, 2011)

Winter migrants have started arriving.  Dusky and Pale Thrushes were often heard in the bush while Daurian Redstart perches on an exposed stick.  A male Mallard and female Green-wniged Teal were also seen in the park.

Birdwatching in Maioka Koen, (25 September, 2011)

Although I visited the park after a big typhoon passed, there were not so many passage migrants yet.  A Narcissus Flycatcher was calling weakly without appearing from the forest.
