Birdwatching in Tam Dao National Park, Vietnam (13 December 2014)

December in northern Vietnam is generally cloudy and windy.

Although my target species were many including Grey and Black-throated Laughingthrush, Red-billed Scimitar Babbler, Purple and Green Cochoa, Short-tailed Parrotbill and Fujian Niltava, not many birds were seen.

Luckily, I was able to see Short-tailed Parrotbill in the foggy bamboo thicket while I was able to photograph a male Fujian Niltava.

Several bush robins were seen.  All of them were female or immature male, which are either Orange-flanked or Himalayan.  In Vietnam, both are seen according to my birding guide.  Does anyone have idea on ID?
