Birdwatching in downtown Meijijingu Shrine & Koukyo (Emperor Palace) (12 February, 2012)

Glad to see the Orange-flanked Bush-Robin was still surviving, though the pin hasn't been taken out yet.  A male Grey Bunting was briefly seen well in the last year's point.  Japanese (Green) Woodpecker was doubtlessly the highlight of the day.  It was feeding on tree trunk, very low!

Two male Smews were still in the channel of Emperor's Palace.

Although just a half day birding, it was so fruitful day for me.
